Coach Megan Smith
In her short tenure as head softball coach, Megan Smith has made an immediate imprint on the program. Her emphasis on recruiting paid off last year, as the Jayhawks bolted out of the gates with the best start in team history, going 19-2 to start the season. Last year’s team also set a new school record for most home runs in a season, giving the fans at Arrocha Ballpark plenty of occasions to stand up and cheer.
